5: All My Skyes

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

In 2008, Iron Man came sauntering on to our movie screens and the Marvel cinematic universe was born. Flash forward to the fall of 2013 and Marvel's *Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.* hit television screens promising big-time Marvel action in your living room each week.

In this episode of *The 602 Club*, host Matthew Rushing is joined by Darren Moser and Norman Lao to talk about Marvel and *Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D*. Together we discuss the continuity the show shares with the films and the problems that causes, as well as the benefits. Darren shows the world why the panel should be writing for television as they dig into the characters and, lastly, we wonder if Agent Carter should have been on the show all along.

4: Prototypical Con Man

Constantine.

The shadowy figure of John Constantine fully revealed himself to comic readers in June of 1985. His Hellblazer comic went on to be the longest running Vertigo comic ever, and now he has come to the small screen on NBC's new fall show Constantine.

In this episode of The 602 Club, host Matthew Rushing is joined by Jose Munoz of The Zero Room podcast as well as Norman Lao to talk about Constantine. They dive into the history of the character, first impressions of the show, and where it hits the mark, while mentioning the things that might still need some tweaking.

3: Batman Babies

Gotham and The Flash.

DC Comics has taken over the TV landscape. Autumn 2014 has brought us two new series: Gotham on FOX and The Flash on the CW. It seems that the world cannot get enough live-action comics, and the networks and producers are happy to oblige. But now that we've turned our screens on, what do we think about the product?

In this episode of The 602 Club, host Matthew Rushing is joined by Norman Lao, Jamie Sanchez, and Daniel Proulx to talk about Gotham and The Flash, the characters, first impressions, criticisms, and delights. Plus, we also delve into the big DC cinematic universe announcement.

2: Who Knew?

Doctor Who.

On November 23, 1963 the BBC aired the first episode of Doctor Who; a show about a time traveler from the planet Gallifrey who, along with his companions, works to save the galaxy from various foes and right injustice. On Christmas Day, 2013, Peter Capaldi became the 12th Doctor (or the 13th, from a certain point of view) making this the longest running sci-fi show ever.

In this episode of The 602 Club, host Matthew Rushing and his guests Andi VanderKolk and Norman Lao discuss this British sci-fi institution, their favorite Doctors and companions, as well as their thoughts about Series Eight and Capaldi.
